Our annual road trip is rescheduled for 8th October 2011. Details on the forum.
Klaus leaving bash 14th July
The mighty German rouleur is heading for Bavaria in mid-July. He will be much missed in VC Beverley club runs and chaingangs, and his departure deserves a good send-off.
Beer and curry on 14th July is the plan, venue and timing to be announced.
Pocklington pedal challenge – new sportive
Clifton CC are promoting a new sportive in the Wolds on April 30th, starting out of Pocklington. Online entry, timing, fully signed route, all the usual sportive goodies. 160, 100 and 60km options

Ho ho ho! The festive club run is scheduled for 19th December with a trip to the cyclist’s oasis that is the Rambler’s Rest at Millington. Mulled wine and mince pies will substitute for the usual tea and cakes and it will play havoc with anyone wanting an uninterrupted, healthy base-training ride.
